The Importance of Quality Bathroom Signs
By Shane Dayton - Ezinearticles

If you have ever done more than just glance at a bathroom sign, then maybe you've wondered why so many signs at airports and government buildings look exactly the same. While many people might think of funny or humorous signs when it comes to buying a bathroom sign, the truth is that these customized and joke signs often overshadow the fact that quality restroom signs for many public buildings are expected to adhere to a certain quality standard.

This sounds very strange, but in many places like airports, post offices, or other government buildings, there are building codes that require bathroom signs to be designed to a particular standard. These signs are often even checked by inspectors to make sure they are clear to read and understand, and also can put up with a level of use and abuse. Many of the ones you find in public will also have braille that need to be clear for blind people to read.

Some other businesses don't have to be held to the same strict standard. Many bars and restaurants, for example, can have funny or customized bathroom signs. Even when this is the case, however, the signs will still be very clearly marked, and designed in such a way that they can't be easily manipulated or damaged.

The quality of handiwork probably isn't something that too many people think about on their way to a public restroom, but next time take a moment to have a brief glimpse. Even at a glance you might be surprised at how well made those bathroom signs really are.
