Really Fun Baby Shower Games

Baby Showers can be a lot of fun, especially if the host has a few games lined up for the guests. You should select a few inexpensive but fun prizes and have them ready for the winners. Gift-wrap adds an element of surprise for the winner. The following are some extra fun ideas for games.

1. Pin the Sperm on the Egg
Following in the tradition of pin the tail on the donkey this version is sure to keep the guests laughing.

2. How Many Baby Supplies Can You Name.
Give each participant a pen and pad of paper. Set a timer for five minutes and have everyone write down as many baby items as the can name. It is easy at first but as time ticks on it gets harder. A prize goes to the person who the longest list!

3. Guess the Size of Mom's Tummy.
Everyone has string and scissors and gets to guess how much string will be needed to make it all the way around the tummy of the Mother-to-be. Everyone gets to test his or her string to see if it makes it around the pregnant mom's belly. The person who is the closest wins.

4. Put the Baby on Mommy.
Another yet different, version of the pin the tail on the donkey is place the baby on mommy. Each participant is given a cut out baby and blindfolded. Mom-to-be is the target as the players are spun and attempt to put their baby cut out on mom! The person is closet to moms tummy is the winner.

5. How Many Safety Pins
Have a jar filled with safety pins. Everyone gets to study the jar and guess how many pins are in the jar! The closest to guess is the winner.

6. Make the Mommy's Baby
Have several baby magazines and Mom magazines available as well as scissors. You will also need paper and glue. Each player cuts out the various features of a baby and creates a baby they believe will look the one about to be born! The mom-to-be gets to be the judge. She will pick which baby looks most like the one she will have soon.
