Brick facing can be used for decorating internal or external walls. This is fixed on to plastered walls as a facing. A half-sized brick is fixed on the wall using different bonds or patterns. This facing is done on concrete columns, walls or masonry piers. Other places for facing are feature walls, chimney fire backs or breasts. The walls may be plastered for ease of facing. On fairly smooth walls the facing can be done without the additional plaster. The bonds should be patterned to the desired finish. This can be English or Flemish bonds for building bricks.
